Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Fendi Mon Tresor Mini for a while now. It’s just so cute and I really wanted it, but the price tag? Ouch. Not in my budget right now. But I’m not one to give up easily, so I started thinking, “How can I get this look without breaking the bank?”
First thing I did was hit up all those usual online stores, you know the ones. I was looking for something similar, but nothing really caught my eye. They were either too plain or just not quite the right style. I wanted that mesh and leather combo, that bucket bag shape, it’s all part of the charm, right?
Then I thought, “Why not try to make one myself?” I’m pretty crafty, I’ve dabbled in sewing and stuff before. So I started sketching out some ideas, trying to figure out the dimensions and how the pieces would fit together. It was a bit of a puzzle, but a fun one.
Next, I needed materials. I hit up the local fabric store, and let me tell you, finding the right mesh was a challenge! I went through rolls and rolls of fabric until I finally found something that looked similar to the Fendi bag. For the leather, I actually found some scraps at a discount, which was a total score.
Now the hard part: putting it all together. I dusted off my old sewing machine and got to work. There were definitely some moments of frustration, like when I accidentally sewed the wrong pieces together or when the mesh kept snagging. But I kept at it, taking breaks when I needed to and consulting some online tutorials for tips.

The Result
Honestly, it felt good to create something myself, it is really great that people share and offer advice to make it work. Now I have a cute new bag that looks a lot like the Fendi one, but for a fraction of the price. Plus, it’s unique, and I know no one else will have the exact same bag. That’s a pretty good feeling.
