So I’ve been wanting to get a nice watch for a while now, and I’ve always had my eye on the Rolex Submariner, especially the green one. But man, those things are expensive! So, I started looking into maybe getting a really good fake one, a “high imitation” as they call it.

I also tried to learn what makes a good fake and what makes a bad one. Like, the real ones are a bit heavy, close to 1.57 inches across. And the markings on the clasp, whatever that is, are supposed to be really clean and sharp.

Waiting and Receiving
It took a while to get replies, and even longer to decide who to buy from. Eventually, I picked a seller and sent the money. It was a bit nerve-wracking, not gonna lie. Then came the waiting. It felt like forever, but finally, I got a message saying it was shipped.
When the package finally arrived, I was super excited but also a little nervous. I opened it up, and there it was. It looked pretty good, honestly. It had some weight to it, and the green color was really nice. I compared it to pictures of real ones online, and it was hard to tell the difference. The markings on the clasp looked good too, at least to my untrained eye.
Putting it on my wrist, it felt great. I wore it out a few times, and nobody seemed to notice anything. I even got a few compliments on it.
So yeah, that’s my story of buying a high imitation Rolex Submariner Green. It wasn’t easy, and I was definitely taking a bit of a risk, but in the end, I got a watch that I really like, and it didn’t cost me a fortune.
